We'll explore how Christ's call to peacemaking shapes our identity as children of God.
Peacemaking flows from who we are in Christ, not from avoiding conflict.
True spiritual maturity develops through practice; through training ourselves to discern good and evil, seeking the higher things of God rather than remaining in elementary teachings.
Key themes:
- Jesus pronounces blessing on peacemakers, not peacekeepers
- Spiritual maturity requires discernment trained by practice
- We are called to move beyond elementary teachings to maturity
As we begin 2026, we're challenged to grow into mature believers who actively step forward as peacemakers, trusting Christ to walk with us one step at a time.
May Christ, our peace, shape you into a peacemaker who reflects the Father's heart.
