There are many different visions for the "good life" and human flourishing out there. In the midst of these competing voices, Jesus radically redfines who is blessed during his teaching in the Sermon on the Mount. In this teaching, we examine questions like, "What did Jesus mean by "blessed", who exactly did he call blessed, and what does it mean to be "poor in spirit"?
