The Bible tells us how things began and it tells us how things will end. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis1:1). Human history will end one day at the feet of Jesus Christ. at the name [authority] of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).

What should people do before the end comes? The answer is simple: bow at the feet of the Jesus Christ. What is required is a willingness to admit our need of him. Jesus put it this way in the Sermon on the Mount: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Mat. 1:3). That door remains open today for all who will bow to the Jesus and admit their need of him. Jesus will fill that need with himself.
