Joe had an unexpected deployment with the Coast Guard & has been gone for almost a month. I'm over here reminiscing on all of the separations we've had with the military & how difficult they can be. But I'm also over here grateful for this little reminder of just how my I love him & miss him so when he's gone. Today's show is just a gentle nudge to remind you to love your spouse well. Give them an extra hug or hold them for an extra minute because you never know when they might not be there...

Let's talk PORN, shall we? Sex addiction is a real thing. Our culture embraces & encourages acts of sex that are not within God's design for sex or marriage. Nobody wants to talk about it. They're too embarrassed or too ashamed & if you dare to say that it's wrong, you will be judged and deemed an uptight, bible-thumping Christian that's insecure about yourself.

I'm here to tell you that the enemy would love nothing more than for us all to rot away in our sinful ways, all by ourselves. We must not be silent on the issue of PORN addiction. This is a pandemic sweeping across the nation and worldwide. As Christians, we have to porn proof our homes & the first step to doing this is acknowledging the issue DOES exist & that it is a sin. And just in case you're struggling with a sexual addiction or maybe you love someone who is...I want you to know, you're not alone! There is hope...and His name is Jesus.

Today we're talking about what the Bible says about being the salt & light. What does that mean anyway? How can we be the salt & light not only in our culture but most importantly, in our home? It all starts at home.
