You may remember Wally Hipolito (@WallyHipolito) from episode 24 of season 2 when he joined the podcast to talk about life. Today's guest is the homie Jeremy Branthoover (@JeremyBranthoover) and we get to have a cool ass conversation about music, life, pursuing our dreams and we get to learn about Jeremy's journey of moving his life from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to California. Jeremy works in music as an engineer and beat maker amongst many other roles in that field. 

In this conversation, we talk about the discipline it takes to bring our dreams to life, the influences that helped shape Jeremy's love for music and we even briefly talk about the current landscape we're all living in with covid and the situation we're all in regarding mandates pushing us to take the vaccine. 

Before you make assumptions or judge me for my stance on the vaccine, please be respectful and understand that this is all a completely new situation we're going through so even with as much as you think you might know about covid/vaccines and what the right thing to do is, truth of the matter is the situation in total so far is still unfolding, it's complicated and everyone is still learning. Also, please note that whatever side you stand on in regards to this whole situation, it shouldn't be that difficult to create actual dialogue around it for the betterment of everyone without belittling or making others feel stupid. We should be able to talk and people are allowed to share how they truly feel about this. If you knock someone for that, you're only adding to the confusion of it all just as you think a person who is not being compliant is. 

With that being said, I'll more than likely dedicate a whole episode to talk about my stance on that whole situation and open up to anyone who is willing to have productive dialogue about this whole messy situation that we're all in. September is Suicide Awareness Month and to raise awareness and highlight its importance, we brought on a good friend of mines, Liz Organo to talk about her story of new motherhood and what she learned from her attempt at suicide. Thankfully Liz is still here to tell her story and live her life. This discussion was a tough one but super important. Find out about how life has changed for the better since the birth of her daughter and how she views her life now compared to life before motherhood. Here are some stats that I pulled from the organization known as S.A.V.E. (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education). 

-Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US for all ages. (CDC)

-Every day, approximately 130 Americans die by suicide. (CDC)

-There is one death by suicide in the US every 11 minutes. (CDC)

-Depression affects 20-25% of Americans ages 18+ in a given year. (CDC)

-Suicide takes the lives of over 48,500 Americans every year. (CDC)

In this episode of the Blessed Beyond Measure Podcast, @CL_TheSource talks about gaining better financial literacy. Transparency and authenticity is something you can always expect to get from this podcast and in this solo episode I'll be sharing my real experiences with money and some of the exciting things I'm currently learning at this point in my financial journey.

My goal, especially early in life, was to achieve financial freedom through passive income but through a bunch of knuckle headed, self inflicted mistakes, I put myself in a tough situation financially. Now I'm not exactly where I envisioned myself to be when I was in my early twenties but I haven't lost hope. I'm working diligently every day to expand my knowledge in the financial area of my life in order to manifest those early visions I have for myself. It's going to take some time and some work but I have confidence that I will get there and I'm sharing my progress with all of you!

In the past through my own lack of awareness of how to handle money, I've created some difficulties in relation to my finances. Translation: I've built a lot of debt and hurt my credit scores very badly but recently I've decided to dedicate more time to learning more about what's available to me to help me climb out of this hole and eventually build wealth.
