Now during my reading of  (Deuteronomy chapter 28) it appears that there are more curses than blessings, but when you hear the details of the curses you know it is the opposite of the details of the blessing, just explained in more details. So as the Lord explained to Moses these things that would befall Israel, if they should turn away from Him these are the same things that is slowly but surely creeping into our nation and if we do not heed the warning signs we are going to soon be in the same predicament, as Israel of old. If the Lord don't come back and take us home sooner, you see in the last days these horrific times are going to happen anyways. (2Timothy 3:1-7) read it. So maybe we are just at the  leading edge of the horrific times to come, God knows! Remember I said in my last podcast that the word of God is a living Word.
So what was relevant back in Moses day; is still relevant today because that same living Word is being either a blessing if we obey, or curse if we disobey. God even says: "More over all these cursed shall come up on thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou harkening not unto the voice of the Lord thy God. To keep His commandments and His statues which He commanded thee." (Deuteronomy 28:45) So are we just a step away from self destruction or do we take that little black book the Bible, dust it off, and start reading it again; raise our children according to the words therein and turn this nation around. I applaud the president's effort of try to bring back manufacturing and the American jobs, but unless we get the Word of God back in us, it'll be like wheat chaff, or dust in the wind! We want to be the wheat not the chaff, blown away by the wind. (Matthew 3:12) read it.
