Anxious? Worried? Uncertain? Fearful? Does it feel like you have to use these words more and more to describe how you feel about life and the world we live in today? Do you feel like you have to keep “looking over your shoulder” for the next bad news to strike? Be honest, aren’t you sick and tired of feeling that unnamable feeling you get when you think about plans for tomorrow, the week to come, and the unknown future?

There’s good news! God has other plans for you and your future that do not include you having to be anxious and fearful. Romans 15:13 offers this rich blessing, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
