• Discerning differences between opposition and correction.

Correction: God’s motive – your good! (Deuteronomy 8:16, Hebrews 12:6-10

è The reward of humbling ourselves ….

• Breaks grip of deception (Deuteronomy 8:3)

• Puts us in a position to receive Blessing, promotion (Deuteronomy 8:16; 1 Peter 5:5, 6; Luke 14:11)
