Mark 8:22-26 NLT
Premise ⁃Your ability to see, understand, and perceive what God is saying and doing in the context of vision is predicated upon the notion that your environment, surroundings, atmospheres, and circles determine the level of your vision.
Scriptural Insight
1. It is imperative to be surrounded by those who have vision when you don’t. Their effort should and will ensure that you not only get to the source of vision (Jesus) but their desperation should invoke God to restore your vision. Why? Simply put, the vision around you could be the vision that saves you! Mark 8:22 NLT
2. The goal of Christ is to lead you away and free you from what was blinding you. Take note of the moments when Jesus decides to draw you away from the normal and then Mark 8:23 NLT
3. God isn’t looking for you to settle for partial vision, rather He is expecting transparency and openness to receiving the full vision God has for you. Sometimes vision isn’t blocked because of a demonic influence, sometimes it’s just a phase. Mark 8:24 NLT
4. Be patient, understanding that God will sometimes give vision in parts, levels, dimensions, and phases. Mark 8:25 NLT
5. Never return to the environment, place, season, past, or even space that denied you of vision. Vision or the lack thereof heavily depends upon the environment you reside in. There is protection in remaining separated from what formerly blinded you. Mark 8:26 NLT
