Considering the current climate, it didn't feel like a great time to do some fun and entertaining subject this week. In fact, I tried twice and both times flopped. Instead, whenever I can find someone who is willing to talk about their experience as a BIPOC living in the United States, I will have them on to discuss their lives. Bear in mind, every person who will be on the podcast has volunteered to do so and should in no way feel obligated to represent the community at large, but as the black community is going through a lot of severe oppression, it seems prudent to elevate their voices in any way we possibly can.

This week we are joined by Ian, a man currently living in the USA who happens to also be biracial. Ian didn't grow up in the United States, and so had a bit of a jarring culture shock when he came here as an adult and saw how he and his family members were treated by the communities around him. We discuss his history, his livelihood, and his current plans for the future.
