The New York Times recently published some controversial remarks made by Cliven Bundy which many considered racist. The Times took the remarks out of context which made the public’s perception quickly turn to disgust of Mr.Bundy.  The disgust was quickly turned to anyone who had supported the ranching family in their dispute with the United States Bureau of Land Management.

While his choice of words was very poor and offensive to many, when you read his comments in entirety, I think you will see this is a man who is concerned for the well-being of all Americans.

Since the NYT article, an African American man who has acted as Mr. Bundy’s bodyguard through the entire ordeal with the BLM has come out publicly to say that Mr. Bundy is not a racist.

No matter what you think about Mr. Bundy’s remarks, the fed’s stand-down in the cattle grazing dispute is much bigger than one man. Liberty is something that’s at stake for ALL Americans, no matter what their skin color.
