"Black Live Matter" is a phrase that has lost its potency over the years due to mainstream media, politics, and corporations' monetization of the slogan. Similar to this slogan "Stop Asian Hate" is a slogan used to combat hate crimes against the Asian community. Both statements are similar in the way that they're trying to protect a specific group of people from facing racial discrimination. So why has one statement created more negative feedback than another?
