Welcome back everyone!

Today’s blog is going to touch on how to truly be single and content. It is a question I have been asking for years and although I found different resources that have tried to provide an answer to it, I don’t believe I have come across anything that has put it over in the way that God helped me put it over in today’s blog.

Similarly, to how athletes must go through grueling training seasons in preparation for a game, run or match, God will use our single season to train us for what he has prepared for us. Although it may not be our favorite season now, it is in our singleness that God can use others to groom us into proper receivers for the gifts that he has for us. It may not always be enjoyable, but this grace period that God allows us to “get it right” is just what we need (and will eventually appreciate) in our walk with Him. After all, God is an intentional God. If He is taking the time to prepare us for what he has for us, that means it’s going to be big. Now who wouldn’t be happy with a gift like that?
