This week, we took a look at “Blonde” released in 2022, directed by Andrew Dominik. This almost three hours long film depicts a fictionalised version of Marilyn Monroe’s life as a biography. In this podcast we discussed cinematography, and how its brilliant use enhanced the film-watching experience, parallels between characters and visual or musical elements, disparities between Norma Jeane and Marilyn, and, of course, relationships of the romantic type.
