Changed forever by that sanguine banquet, the remaining members of Sanguis Populi still protect the People of Ozzurod decades later - now as vampires. The People cry out as invading creatures bent on draining this world of magic close in on The Illusory Forest. Sanguis Populi answers, sending Elvira, Blythe and Swan to do what has not yet been done - slay one of the leaders of the invaders. First, though, they'll have to make it through a Forest that fights back against their presence and the smaller Creatures from Beyond that have imposed themselves upon this land...
