2020 Blood Rock 50 Miler was my first ultra distance race which started at midday. There a lot of joy about running ultra distance through day and night, but this one was different.

Ever since I started to run 17 years ago, I've always viewed Summer as my training season - calling it my "off-season." During this time, I prioritize light racing, traveling and boding with family. If I race, I mostly focus on distances shorter than a marathon - road, trail and anything in between.
