Periods have saved us from doom, they are wild and basic, raw and instinctual, bloody and eternal aspects of the female and no amount of civilization will change that, your period is a monthly occurrence in your life that you will ever have in common with all women who have ever lived and not only that but through it we are able to embody our essential manifestation, the creative and destructive nature that the feminine carries within has been stigmatized for years because of how powerful it is. It’s time for us to get to know something fundamental of our own human unfolding.

It still blows my mind how this is not talked about more.
