Nobody like to be inconvenienced, and in Acts 24, Paul spoke with a leader and his wife who didn't, either. In fact, that leader sent Paul away and said he'd bring him back "when it seemed convenient to him." But guess what? Jesus is NEVER convenient, and if you're waiting until he is, you'll wait too long and eventually it will be too late. We've made a god out of our desire for peace and quiet, but God's peace often blows man's peace to pieces. It's the only way to truly find the rest God desires for you to have.
