Leaders are not born,they are  made in the school of life, in the events of life, as life unfolds from our thinking….leaders are made. Nobody is born a leader,we all learn to become leaders as we  make right decision or rise to the situation . Life is a school with unending lessons,it’s a school we never graduate from cos each time we “create the time to” contemplate the past,we learn new lessons. The good thing about life is that each experience has a lesson for us. Sometimes we think life is happening to us and then we cry “why me” We may think life is difficult due to its challenges. The process of solving challenges is a painful one because challenges make us think, brainstorm,analyse and try to find a solution to problems, this requires contemplation,honest  and stringent self examination. The truth is challenges call forth our wisdom,courage ad mental strength. This is the birth of leadership hence when we become  “Be still” and contemplate our events from a leadership perspective then we begin to realise the lessons and guidance life is trying to teach us. In truth,life is not happening to us,life unfolds from us,from our thought, speech,action,aspiration and lifelong pursuit, life also unfolds from the things we plan and the ones we fail to plan. My point…. it is in the process of solving life’s challenges that we become leaders and give life meaning.
