17 Apr 2013: So many bands clutter the landscape, but there a few that stand out because they somehow manage to cleverly meld tone, groove and story together and stamp it as their own. Its like the longer youve been around, the more time has allowed influence to seep in and do its work. The by-product of all of this can be pretty interesting. Rock music has morphed into a lot of different things, but it seems that loud, brash, spirited guitar rock is a forgotten art form. Blue Factory has refreshingly stayed on this path of sonic goodness, which is surprising because there are only three guys behind this giant sound. Blue Factorys latest effort Primates, Drunks and Cowboys on Kranepool records is a perfect example of this art form. It doesnt hurt either that all of this buzzing, bashing and booming is greatly cared for by legendary producer, Barry Breckenridge. Check out Blue Factory perform and amplify a forgotten art form.
