On the final Friday of every month we take a moment to honor a local law enforcement officer to has went above & beyond the call of duty by representing "the best of the badge". 

This month we are honoring Corporal Bill Nelson of the Chesterfield County Police Department. As an officer for the last 17 years, Cpl. Nelson has been working over the last 5 years as a school resource officer. In addition to this he has been a part of training future cadets and educating youth about a police officers' duties to the point where several students he has helped train are now officers in the force. 

Thank you Corporal Nelson for not only all of your service to our community but representing "the best of the badge" as our November Blue Friday Honoree.
