Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays, has been signed to a new five-year contract following the teams impressive run to the American League pennant. Shapiro, who has been with the Blue Jays since 2015, has been praised for his leadership and is expected to continue leading the team through the 2028 season. Ross Atkins, the teams general manager, is also signed through 2026, ensuring continuity in the teams leadership structure.
