For the first time since 1993, the Toronto Blue Jays are in the World Series and New York baseball fans like myself are rooting for Don Mattingly’s Blue Jays in this one, hoping that as the Jays bench coach, that he will win the World Series ring that alluded him in the Bronx.

I also reflect on the fact that 10 years ago today, I saw the Mets make their only World Series in my lifetime thus far and hope that they can get back there sooner than later.
