It was a busy night. Call after call after call. We were heading to a jumper. I was glad to see the familiar face of my paramedic friend as he asked "Do you want me to do that Officer?" The question he always asks when on my scene. I was grateful for his presence.

Partners can be hard to live with and very irritating. Especially Ralph. We had been at odds with each other for a couple of days. I needed to discuss it. He did not. When I tried, all he heard was me calling him a stud, which I did not! This is how we got right with each other.

While on a R.I.D.E. spotcheck, we get accused of being racists. Well, this time it's my voice, a cops voice, to express our expereince of the interaction.

On International Women's Day, I educate Ralph about gender-inequality.

He begged to be shot by the officers on scene. But responding officers had time and distance to their advantage.
