This message continues our study of Luke. Focal passage is Luke 6:37-42. Perfect faith is a person genuinely trying to follow Jesus.

Do you believe and trust in the Word Of God? Are you living it out? This message takes a look at some of the more challenging commands in scripture.

27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. ~ Luke 6:27-28

What does faith look like, not when you are at church, but when you are out in the midst of the world? What are you living for: the Kingdom Of God or the things of this world? You can choose to be blessed in the midst of whatever circumstance you face if you are living for the Kingdom Of God!

Are you filled with anxiety? If so, you are not focused on Jesus! How do you choose to live life? Under Old Testament laws? Or with a daily relationship with Jesus, being renewed each morning, finding peace and rest?

Does attending a church service change you? No. It is up to you to decide to apply what you have read and heard and learned. The kind of "Follow Me" covered in this passage requires more than outward actions. It requires inward change. Are you willing to deny self, walk away from everything, take up your cross daily, and follow Jesus? If so, you now have an eternal perspective and nothing can rob your joy!

And he said to him, “Follow me.” And leaving everything, he rose and followed him. ~ Luke 5:27-28
