EXPERIENCE IT
UNTIL THE FLAME BURNS BRIGHTER
It's been a very, very long time.
A lot has happened since my last song release. Jobs, people, college, etc....
I built a new computer and moved all of my music projects there. Took a bit to get used to the new place, but it all worked out in the end. There's a lot I want to talk about, but I'm terrible at writing these sorts of things. Long story short, I haven't been able to work on music for some time due to many, many life circumstances. I'm going to college soon for music production, so maybe that'll help.
I always wanted to make music. Recently, I got into parapara. Listening to eurobeat and hyper techno made me realize how much I love this sorta stuff again. The excitement, the pulse, the sound of it all... I wanted to go back to my roots. To the people that inspired me to love this music. Realizing that good-cool's SENSE was inspired by Juliana's Tokyo music and the Japanese 90's rave scene as a whole, I wanted to make something with that sound again... the HARD RAVE name came back to me...
And so, I decided to make a sort of "Red Light 2". I wanted those classic stabs back, the loud electronic drum rack, the crazy vocal samples... It took me months of motivation, experimenting and acceptance to make something again. But I finally stuck to my guns and went for it. Another classic 90's rave track from yours truly! I wanted to give it a speedier BPM (145BPM), compared to the more deliberate house rhythm of the original Red Light... (Hoping this gets a techpara routine someday! The BMS cut would work perfectly for it... 'v';)
I wanted to thank all of the people who helped me out through these times:
