“Blueger Set To Return?” TOR@PIT 11/15/22

Matt Murray. The very first thing that should come to mind, when a Penguins fan sees that name in print, is that he lifted the Pens to back-to-back Stanley Cups. Period, end of sentence. And tonight, “Muzz” is back on the Leafs’ active roster, set for a return to the ice at PPG Paints Arena. I, too, will make my return to the ice with last season’s beer league team, out here where I’m currently traveling for music gigs. I just happen to have my hockey bag and they just happen to have a game. My jersey number: 53. Now, is it pure coincidence that on this very night, Mr. Teddy Blueger (also #53, in case you were unaware) is himself set to make his own way back onto the Penguins’ active roster? I think not. If you’re buying a lottery ticket, placing sports bets tonight, etc… make sure the number fifty-three is in there somewhere. It should be a great game in snowy Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania tonight. Leafs at Pens, Reverse Retro Jerseys pulled over your Pengweenos, and one of them will say: BLUEGER.
