2 Kings 6:14-17

Premise: When your vision is blurred, it causes you not to see a true picture of what is in front of you. This can lead to making poor decisions and having misplaced emotions based on a misunderstanding of what you’re looking at. God will use leaders He’s placed in your life to help you open your eyes to God’s vision. Then, you will be able to see what was there the whole time.

1. Having blurred vision can cause you to have misguided emotions, unsolicited fear and premature panic due to seeing a reality that is false to the believer. Faith grants us the golden opportunity to see in the spirit rather than only seeing what’s physically before us. We walk by FAITH not by SIGHT.

2. Blurred vision produces fear. Clear vision produces faith. One of the benefits of having clear vision is being able to quickly notice the help of God.

3. God strategically places leaders in your life who can see what you cannot, giving you the indication that your vision should be led by clearer vision. What is clear to your leader may be blurred to you. Therefore being open to the instructions and guidance of leadership can offer you access to realms and possibilities of vision when yours is blurred. You must decide if you will listen or choose to trust your skewed vision.
