And how to use the new restrictions to your advantage!
@kencode has fixed the issue with the live streaming on Blurt.Media but there are some restrictions in place. These are so that they can be sure that the hardware can handle the live streaming without a bunch of upgrades.
The Restrictions
Take advantage of these restrictions!
Pimp out your stream to your audience over many days or weeks.
Your audience will always know the link to tune in and watch/listen to you.
A recurring live stream does not get votes every time you go live. It's a one and done thing. But you will make up for it in all your announcement posts about the next time you go live. ie It's Monday and your live doesnt start until Friday night. How many post can you write about it over those 5 days? How much more audience interaction will get? Allow you to hone in on exactly what they want from you?
You will need to record your stream locally on your computer. OBS Studio is completely capable of doing this. Stream and record at the same time.
Like I said I will go over that part tomorrow with a lot more nuance.
Btw, welcome to my new Blurt.Media channel. OpenSourceStudio. Can you guess what I will be talking about on it?
