Acts 13:6-7; Luke 14:7-11

Elymas’ purpose for life, his identity is being threatened, and his world is in danger of crashing down. When threatened, it shouldn’t surprise us to see him act out negatively. Self-preservation often shows up in with some nasty behaviors.

What happens when your world faces such danger? Moreover, what do you do with the words of Jesus that encourage us not to get wrapped up in position or self-advancement?
