Acts 15:3; Luke 10:30-37
Samaria has had a peculiar role in the spread of Christianity, as it was not considered a part of the house of Israel during the time of Jesus, but it had enough roots and heritage to be regarded as closer to Judaism than any of the Gentiles that had no knowledge of God.
