Acts 15:4; Galatians 2:1-9

Even the early church ran the risk of adding the weight of the Mosaic Law without even realizing it. That’s the reason Paul, Barnabas and Titus have made the 400 mile trip from Antioch of Syria down to Jerusalem. They knew that the added weight would cloud the otherwise clear message of the Gospel of Jesus and the New Covenant.
