Timber Rock Amphitheatre in Farmington presents "An Evening With Larry The Cable Guy", an all-ages show Thursday evening, May 14 at 7PM.  Larry The Cable Guy discusses his amazing career as a cultural icon, his friendship with Aaron Rodgers, and his gratitude toward his fans.  Tickets for the show are available at Timberrockamp.com.

The third annual Brunch and Bloom will be held on Saturday, May 16 at the Bottleworks in Cambria to honor the programs served under the umbrella of Beginnings, Inc.  One of those programs, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is celebrated as one of the premier organizations in the Laurel Highlands region.  We talked to Jes Phillipi, Director of Beginnings Inc, Taylor Smay of CASA; and our very own Bubba Connor, who was recently honored as the CASA Volunteer of The Year.

The Raise the Ruff fundraiser takes place on Saturday, April 25 at the Woodvale Athletic Club, 630 Maple Ave, Johnstown to benefit the Humane Society of Cambria County.  Proceeds from the basket party/bake sale will help fund the construction of a new facility for the Cambria County Humane Society.  Organizers Tracy McCarthy and Janice Bunch discussed their enthusiasm and purpose for organizing this event.

Veronica Crum and Tara Hogan of Pennsylvania Special Olympics discuss a basket party that will held at The Grove in Westmont section of Johnstown on Saturday.  Tickets are $10 with a small lunch provided.  Doors open at 11:00AM with drawing at 2:00 to benefit Special Olympics of Cambria County.

Heather Jo Saly, the site administrator of Cambria/Somerset PA Career Link discusses the second annual Somerset County Job Fair.  The event will occur in Somerset on April 16.

The Westmont Hilltop High School Drama Club presents Alice By Heart.  The show will be presented at the Wesmont Hilltop High School/Middle School auditorium Friday evening at 7:00PM, Saturday evening at 7:00PM and a Sunday 2:00PM matinee.

Egg My Yard For A Cure takes place on Saturday evening April 4 at 7PM in various neighborhoods throughout the Greater Johnstown area. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

We spoke to Carl Kushner and Nancie Seifert about their years-long efforts to educate our region about Cystic Fibrosis.  They have become personally involved because their family has experience with the disease.
