Exodus 10:21 reads, "Then the Lord said to Moses, 'Stretch out your hand toward the heavens, so that darkness may come over the land of Egypt, a darkness which [is so awful that it] may be felt.'" Pastor Richard answers the question of where the darkness was derived and how there was still light in Goshen for the Israelites.
