Have you ever considered creating a board game collection in your library? Or maybe you have a collection but want to expand its usage. Or maybe you're just a board game enthusiast interested in how board games fit into libraries. In any of those cases, Episode 3 of Listen with LOUIS is for you.
Join us as we listen to Danielle Costello and Lili Bedoya, both from LSU Libraries, talk about the board game collection at their library. The two will explain how they started the board game collection at LSU, what libraries can do to get started, how board games serve an information need in libraries, and so much more. Plus, Danielle and Lili talk about what they are passionate about outside of libraries (fantasy novels and community theatre!) in a new segment called Pitch Your Passion.
Danielle Costello is the Games and Gaming Round Table Events Programming Co-Chair for the American Library Association and a Research and Instruction Librarian at LSU. Lili Bedoya is a 2022 graduate of LSUs School of Library and Information Science and is now the Research and Instruction Services Coordinator at LSU Libraries.
