Willie: A quarter of the year has passed, where has the time gone? We play catch-up with what games we have played, and talk about Patchwork: 10th Anniversary.

Alexa: Next episode comes in 5 months!

Willie: No! We're working on the schedule now, so next one won't be too far from now. Con season is coming up, so look forward to that!

Willie: Happy Holidays! In this late episode, we discuss games that would be great to play for the holidays! Because there's about 2-3 days until Christmas, so what better way to enjoy the season by playing some thematic board games?

Willie: Bah. Humbug.

Willie: Today, we catch up with games we played, and we talk about a board game based off of the video game (but not really based off the video game), Wilmot's Warehouse! It's an interesting game, despite my gripes with it.

Alexa: We're still so slow. People are probably tired of our excuses now

Also I want to play Wilmot's Warehouse again (The board game)

Willie: Hopefully we're not TOO slow that we get a bad score. Right? Right? Ha hah! Hah!

Willie: Welcome in! We talk some more about recent boardgames, especially of the one play I finally gotten into of a Hollanspiele game. Then we talk about a classic game of push-your-luck, Can't Stop, but a more-recent and fancier version of it!

Alexa: You forgot to mention how we took an eternity to post this...

Willie: I didn't forget; I selectively omitted.

Willie: My voice is fully recovered! We talk about games we played, and mostly talk about Harmonies, a beautiful abstract game about nature! We also talk about the one bad thing I didn't like about it!

Alexa: You think harmonicas are beautiful???

Willie: We're back! This is the unofficial start to Season 3 of Boardgames and Blank as we report on our time at Kublacon 2024 this year! We go over all the shenanigans that happened, as well as what games we played (or tried to).

Willie: It's that time again soon: KublaCon 2024 is upon us, and in today's episode (after a brief talk and rant about Harmonies, the latest abstract nature tile-laying game that took my attention by storm), we talk about boardgame convention excitement, along with what games I'm looking forward to snagging if I see them available!

Alexa: Hooray for KublaCon!!!!! I want to play Harmonies there!!! The Shipwreck Arcana!!! Riverside!!! Rafter Five!!! I WANT TO GET DICE!!!!! >:O

Willie: If only you would harness this energy towards your homework...

Willie: Today, we're talking about recent boardgames we've been playing, and then talking about a game about making plans to go to Japan called Let's Go to Japan, by Josh Wood! Just hear us out, the game sounds like it's boring, but it's very fun and beautiful and is a challenging solo game as well!

Alexa: I want the bowls from your fancy deluxe edition!!! >:D

Willie: Hi everyone! We go over a lot of games we've played since the last episode, and talk about a wonderfully-abstract game with glorious components called Lacuna!

Alexa: I like how in the photo for the episode includes our crooked flower (pink). And yes, it is a wonderfully abstract game with GLORIOUS components. :D
