Abby Barrows is a marine research scientist based in Maine on the east coast of the United States.  It’s more accurate to say, she’s based on an island off the coast of the United States, just shy of the Canadian border.
Abby runs the microplastics lab for an organisation you may have heard of called Adventure Scientists.  In this podcast, she talks to Boat Radio’s Mike McDowall about her work and about life on a small island.
