Boats and Earth. Life and Other Things

Boats and Earth

Life and other things.

Who will sail them?

Row, row, row your boat... or set sail.

Let's be sober about it and not get high on false hopes, or else we'll just have to sail close to the wind. Let's face it: we're between the devil and the deep blue sea, it all depends on the perspective, although this time, we won't have one or the other, it's not either going down with the ship or abandoning it. We are all going down with it unless Elon Musk sends us to the moon and back, in fact, no, to Mars and unlikely back, he doesn't love us as deeply as to the moon and back, for sure, and some of us wouldn't even want to dip their feet in uncharted waters. Some only have Greta for now. I, like her, not unlike her, will go for the latter, the deep blue sea, but not for the same reasons as I'm a far cry from what's she up to, and nowhere in hell going to afford it, the deep blue sea, I mean, although I like its hue. It will also go well with the clear, blue skies of today, or maybe tomorrow, or the day after many tomorrows, the skies not many people look up to see or wonder at any longer. Maybe we're done discovering realities unless they're virtual.

My only real interest, when it comes to boats, goes to lifeboats: insiders, pathfinders, SOS listeners, soul ninjas, resilient standbys, silent reserve players/benchwarmers - [Who could find so much warmth: a cat miaowing in disdain meets the look on his face that seems to be saying: I still like you. It doesn't matter if you like me back or not.] Declaration of love. Lifeboats. Make sure you'll find one, you'll need one!
