Bob Crawford, the bassist for and long-time member of the folk-rock band The Avett Brothers, tells Rob Kramer how he convinced two brothers to make him their third. Father to a daughter who is a brain-cancer survivor, he also reveals how he has managed to remain equally committed to his family, his charitable work and his music.
