Sometimes, we need to take a look at what life has thrown at us, and find the humor in it. And that’s just what retired Army
Sgt. Bobby Henline did.
Henline was veteran of Desert Storm in his teenage years, and re-enlisted after 9/11/01. Sadly, his Humvee was blown up,
and Henline was the only survivor, suffering burns over 40% of his body. During his extensive recovery, there were many
down days, and he turned to humor as therapy. Now, he travels across the country lifting the spirits of others suffering
from post-war trauma, giving hope that life is worth the struggle.
Henline has since teamed up with award-winning writer/director Nony Geffen to produce a documentary about his life,
