According to wrestling news, Bobby Lashley said on the NotSam Wrestling podcast that he pitched went to Vince McMahon and pitched an idea for an angle about portraying a severely depressed character. Lashley was even willing to go to great lengths to make the storyline as real and unique as possible. Not surprisingly, Vince ultimately said no to the idea.
