“Mr. Mayor” follows a retired businessman-turned-mayor of Los Angeles (Ted Danson) as he tries to find common ground with his biggest critic (Holly Hunter), connect with his teenage daughter, and meet an age-appropriate girlfriend, all while shepherding L.A. into the best possible future.
