The Chronicle has new ownership officially starting today. What does this mean for the coverage going forward? More likely than not, it is exactly what was seen in an example from the weekend in the fall out of what was journalistically a great story about a commissioner's daughters that instead turned from journalism to public relations. 

In topic 2, Bobby talks about why the Chronicle engaged in word soup yet again in an editorial from Friday regarding the animal shelter. This time the blame was bizarrely aimed at government workers, and how this was a deflection from who the editorial board wants to blame but can't.
