“I’m disgusting.” / “I’m ugly.” / “I’m unlovable.” / these are some of the most uncomfortable thoughts and beliefs we could have about our body. Discomfort can also feel like those extra pounds, and feeling guilty for not taking care of yourself. Discomfort is just all the kinds of insecurities and darknesses we feel about ourselves. We don’t need more solutions on better behaviors like “calorie counting” or workouts, no we need a connection back to the design of who we are. How we feel is not how God feels about us — and that is our resurrection!
