Before making her own career pivot into entrepreneurship in 2020, Janel spent more than 7 years across corporate HR departments like Learning & Development, Recruiting, Consulting, and HR Business Partnership, helping hundreds of passionate professionals find that "hell yeah, this is what I'm meant to do" kind of work.

Janel has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from NYU and a Masters degree in Organizational Behavior from The London School of Economics.
