Ciaran is secondary school language teacher and has completed a History PhD on 'Local Experience of the 1798 Rebellion'. He has published one book on this topic and numerous articles on the early development of football in Dublin and Bohemian FC in particular. He is married with two children, a cavalier king charles & a large collection of football memorabilia.
