Boise State thwarts upset bid from Wyoming, UNLV in driver's seat after Colorado State stumbles, & everything on the line in the final week of the year!

Welcome back, everyone, to the Hike’s Peak podcast! Thank you for coming back to the mountain! We’re entering the final week of the regular season, and the mayhem has just begun! Wyoming took Boise State down to the wire, but Ashton Jeanty, once again, carried his team to victory and the right to host the conference championship. On the flip side, Colorado State stumbled for the first time in Mountain West play, falling on the road to Fresno State. This now opens the door for UNLV, who handled San Jose State in rainy conditions to put the Rebels on the doorstep of a rematch with the Broncos. We’ll break down those three headlining contests, then we’ll end the show with our games of the week! First up is the battle for the Fremont Cannon, with UNLV taking on a pesky Nevada squad. And second will be New Mexico trying to make their first bowl game in 9 years at Hawaii. Lots of stops to make this week, let’s dive in!
