Exposing fascism in Bolivia, from past to present. During today's episode, we discuss ongoing far-right violence in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. We talk about racist evangelical paramilitary groups like the Unión Juvenil Cruceñista that are murdering socialist activists and Indigenous people. We shed light on the political forces that supported the violent 2019 coup; and that continue to push for white separatism. We also discuss the historical presence of fascists in Bolivia, including German Nazi Klaus Barbie and military dictators Hugo Banzer and Luis García Meza.
