Bouchard spoke out shortly after news broke that he had filed a lawsuit seeking to replace the board of directors who fired him as the company's CEO on Jan. 28. The battle for control of the company comes as its ambitious vision to "rebuild Appalachia" by constructing a $1.8 billion aluminum plant remains just that -- a vision. Bouchard claims his ouster disrupts the progress he was making to secure funding for the mill. The board claims he wasn't making progress.
