Hey you guys! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. This week is a re-release of a conversation with my friend, Megan. Her company, Farmstead Meats (& the Farmstead Connection) focus on bringing together a community of producers to sell all together, rather than traditional selling. She and her business partners are intensely community focused- creating a non traditional business model that is just... mind blowing honestly.
We also chat about the wild fires that damaged California, especially this summer, and about sustainability for producers.
You guys this might be my most favorite episode so far- Megan's passion for educating me, and all of you is intoxicating, and I'll be honest... prior to cutting some of the less relevant snips- like how teaching during COVID is going, and talking in depth about some of the vendors in her store- the episode was almost 100 minutes- and we only stopped recording because it was after 9PM here. This episode was such a joy to record and to release- so I sincerely hope you all learn as much as I did with Megan!
You can find Farmstead Meats online at thefarmsteadconnection.com, on FB at @The-Farmstead-Connection, and on IG at @farmstead2020!
